This year players of several competing team of FIFA world games are banned to use the social sites like twitter, buzz, facebook etc. Its is very common for coaches to ban sex and alcohol during the tournament but this year they are going one step further and banning players from accessing the social media sites to avoid distraction.

Teams like Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Holland, Germany, Spain and England have already stopped their players from using the social sites. Coach of Chile, Marcelo Bielsa, also stopped players from using the internet.

Of course the football fans thinks that these bans are very harsh and players will get more motivated if they were allowed to connect with the public. Similar ban have been also enacted in the USA during the American football and basket ball season. Moreover no one is also allowed to update the players account on their behalf.

Do share your opinion about the ban in the comments section and don’t forget to support your favorite team.
